M6L Administrative records

The M6L Administrative Records Collection is a comprehensive archive documenting the library's activities and operations from its creation in 1995 until now. The collection encompasses mpre than 90 boxes of records, reflecting the library's administrative evolution.

The records are divided into two sub-fonds, with Sub-Fonds A (1995–2021) and Sub-Fonds B (2022-). The Sub-Fons A further categorized into three primary series: Administration, Technical Services, and User Services. These series capture a range of functions, from internal and external correspondence, staff and hiring records, and financial documentation, to acquisitions, subscriptions, and user-oriented services like circulation, reference, and more.

Despite challenges in preserving original order due to the relocation of materials over the years, a systematic arrangement was established in 2022. This organizational framework seeks to maintain a balance between reconstructing the original structure and creating a logical, functional grouping for research and reference. The collection's records are in English, French, and Arabic, adheres to the ISAD archival standard and reflects the library's legacy.
